Named after their practise of sewing razor blades into the peaks of their caps, the notorious 'Peaky Blinders' gang is one of the city's most feared, with interests in illegal betting, protection and the black market. When Ragnar is burned alive, Uhtred vows to avenge his death and to recapture his ancestral lands of Bebbanburg.<br/><br/>Meanwhile King Alfred (David Dawson)'s health is declining and he is searching for a Christian Dane capable of succeeding him and uniting the kingdoms of England.
